We are a non-governmental body and registered under charity trust. We generate operating revenue by sale of blood. There is a cap on the sale price of Blood. The requirements from hospitals always keep fluctuating and blood has limited shelf life. Our organization yearly support significant volume for charity. All these points bring in challenge to run blood bank, and as a part of Jana Kalyan Samiti we also abide within the framework of regulation and internal guidelines.

The mission is to ensure that adequate amount of blood is made available to those who need.For this we appeal to all to get involved. You can get involved in this mission in number of ways.

• Donate blood regularly: Regular blood donation every 3 months can be a healthy habit.
• Donate Platelets: this is type of blood donation. The platelets are required in case of urgent treatment for Dengue . This can save the lives. The requirements are urgent and specific. This is safe, can be done frequently. There is no blood loss in the whole process.
• Arrange camp: There is limitation on walk in donors. The camp helps in quickly gaining bags , thereby assuring adequate stock. Our team can help you in communicating on how to go about it.
• Donate small amount of money regularly: This is an easy and you can donate in cash, cheque or by using net banking. This helps us to plan for future and helps us to continue with charity of issue of blood bag. Even a small amount donation of Rs 500 to 1000 can be a good help. You can donate once in year , on any family occasion. Let us know your name and contact number and we shall be in touch with you.
• Donate time: there are many things which can be planned. If you can spare 2 hours of week, we can work on many upcoming projects. The projects are- to upgrade the infrastructure, contact various agencies, support on camps activities, create social awareness. We can form various small groups to support our activities.
• We also have some subcommittee formed with various tasks. You can join us on specific task, with your skill sets.
